Malachi 3:1 “Behold, I send My messenger,
And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek,
Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant,
In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
Two thousand years ago the world waited for a sign of God’s promised Messiah. The people suffered under the corruption of the pious counsel of the Sanhedrin and the tyranny of a foreign army inflamed the turmoil of that day . There appeared on the scene a man dressed in camels fur and dieting on locusts. The unlikely design of God selecting a zealot to prepare the way for the King was only shadowed by the quiet barn and manger in which the Promised One first appeared.
The setting was laid and the epic moment finally had come—–it must have been a surprise as the King hung on the cross that fateful day. A mother weeping, a disciple comforting her, and the future leader of the church of Jerusalem reeling from fright and dismay.
How does God pull from the ashes a Kingdom that will turn the world upside down?
A Risen Savior—that’s how.
Flash forward 2000 years.
We have witnessed the rise of the church and the fall of many martyrs. We have heard from brilliant people of faith and watched many leave a legacy of faithfulness that echoes to this day.
Here we stand, at the precipice of the finish line. Many have run the race well while some have stumbled and fell, never to return. We have a mockery of pseudo-beliefs, each having had their day in the sun, each echoing images of truth while leading their people toward destruction. Atheism, agnosticism, and science are the current trends of those who think they have found some loophole to exploit a “new” meaning to life…or simply a lack of. While these charlatans all play the fool, the advent of the King appears on the horizon.
Revelation 22:12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”
I have argued ad nauseum with the philosopher, the muslim, the new age follower, the atheist, the intellectual, and the evolutionist. I have now concluded that no measure of evidence, sound reason, or argument can persuade an individual that Truth is defined by the risen Savior. A Truth embodied in Jesus Christ, a Truth revealed at the resurrection, and a Truth that holds every hope of mankind in His grasp. He wants to give it away, I want to give it away……but they just won’t take it!
With each doctrine of truth I present, a subsequent denial of probability leaves it in shreds. With each piece of evidence presented, they refute the knowledge gained by their so called reasonable doubt. If I relay a testimony of God’s miraculous intervention, they have a similar story by an idolater of folklore. There are times I want to give up. I’m tired of arguing with the fool. I’m fed up with the seemingly historical educator who claims they have uncovered some conspiracy that brings “new light” to the masses. The skeptic and the apathetic seem to seal their fate with each mockery in their voice.
But I can’t quit!!!
The Lord will not allow me to quit….His boundless love continues to compel me to go out and argue with another, reason with the next, and plead with the blind. Just when I think I can’t go on another day, He shows me a glimpse of His glory in a life reborn—Hope is renewed, His joy brings strength, and the journey continues another day.
There is a light at the end of our journey. There is a great hope that endures. The messenger sent before the Messiah has already come, among men, there was no one greater one than John, and yet, here we are now.
Today we are the messengers before the soon and coming King!
His message has transformed our lives, His Truth has permeated our hearts, and the echo of the past saints still rings in our ears.

Malachi 3:2-3 “But who can endure the day of His coming?
And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire
And like launderer’s’ soap.
He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the Lord
An offering in righteousness.”
We must go out in righteousness that the unrighteous might know who sent us. We offer up daily sacrifices to the King, in our conduct, our prayers, our study, and in how we love. The life of the redeemed is not for the weak, but then, it’s not our strength in which we rely…is it?
The armies of Heaven are assembling, the angel of the Lord is raising the shofar, the dead in Christ stir with anticipation for the glory of God to be revealed. His church will arise, the messengers revealed, they will be lifted from this earth and meet Him in the air, then they will be transformed. The corruptible will put on incorruption, the lowly head will be lifted, the silent strength of God’s people will be presented as the bride to the Bridegroom and the wedding supper of the Lamb will commence its glorious celebration.
Will you be there?
Will you have your place at the table? Will your name be written in the Lamb’s book of Life? Will you be counted among the lowly?
There is only one way you can gain entrance into this assembly….

I’m not going to argue with you…you can either receive it or reject it, it really is up to you. I will continue to share this message, just like my brother’s and sister’s in Christ with me.
We stand united, in one purpose and one faith….I will warn you though, the hour is completing, the time is at hand, and the last call of God’s messengers rings out across the land.
Zephaniah 1:14 “The great day of the LORD is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out.”
If you miss this day—you will suffer forever in regret.
If you count yourself among His faithful, you bear a message the world needs to hear.
2 Corinthians 5:20 “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
As long as we still have breath, there is still hope for the lost. Don’t hesitate another minute, let the life giving power of God be manifest in you and join the lineage of messengers who have delivered the hope of Christ to the world.
