1 John 5:1 “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.”

The One who gives rise to and brings about all life is the One who is the originator of all.
If I were to begin to summarize the Father it might begin with this title…He who begot.
When looking at the lineage of mankind we can look back in time and see a pattern of succession. “To Enoch was born Irad; and Irad begot Mehujael, and Mehujael begot Methushael, and Methushael begot Lamech”. On and on it goes, from Adam until today men and women have risen and then passed on. The lineage looks to have begun with the man Adam but far into the past existed One who had no beginning, the One who begot Adam is the One who is the originator of life.
Isaiah 45:18 “For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.”
There is one source of life and out of Him dwells He who brought life into existence. Jesus is begotten of the Father…perfect and holy in His countenance, without fault, He is the source of all righteous affection.
One cannot say they love God without saying they love Jesus.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are inseparable. All present at Creation, all formative of life and that which we know, Yahweh demonstrated His creative genius and allows us to witness that genius in part.

Psalm 95:3-5 “For the LORD is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.”
The psalmist looked and recognized the majesty of God. The Lord formed the world in such a way that we can practically partake of His majesty. He gave mankind the authority to be a steward over His creation and with that title came much responsibility.
The Lord has a specific purpose in all that He has formed…
Colossians 1:15-18 “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.”
The Lord is exalted over all that He begot. His glory is revealed, but only in part.
1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.”
Mankind can see a portion of God’s divine brilliance and still exclaim…How great thou art! Oh what joy awaits those who will know Him in full, the revelation of God to man has no equal. The One who formed man in His image, who placed life into that which was dead, brings a fullness of life into the heart of the redeemed.
The Breath of Life
Not only did the Lord breathe life into mankind, but He breathes spiritual life into the hearts of the faithful.
John 20:22 “And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

When Jesus sent His disciples out to proclaim the good news, He did not send them out unprepared. He taught them first, He demonstrated righteousness before them, and then when He had risen in power over death, He sent them out in His power with His authority.
Jesus rose to new life that His life might be manifest in His people.
The One who begot mankind in creation, has also begotten His church. The Lord redeems a people of His own choosing, He calls them forth to receive His Spirit of holiness and empowers them to accomplish His will.
Isaiah 45:18 “For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!): “I am the LORD, and there is no other.”
There is no other God before Him. No entity formed by man who may receive His glory. No idol may receive the chorus of His praises. The Lord, He is God and His justice goes forth throughout the earth.
What is the Lord forming in you today?
He has a purpose that will be completed and if you have accepted Jesus as Lord, that purpose will include you in His eternal plan.

Ephesians 3:11 “This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord”
God has issued His decree..”Come unto me all you who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest.”
The decrees of God are not only eternal, they are wise and independent of any external influence. The absolute and unconditional decrees of God have already been formed by Him, but to know them and understand the wise counsel of His Word requires relationship. Within a holy relationship lies an obedient heart.
That is what faith looks like—Trusting in a wise and loving God who is sovereign over His creation.
You have been begotten of God. He knitted you together in your mother’s womb and He will form you into a new creation if you trust in Christ.
All that He begins, He completes. He is trustworthy and faithful.
What are you waiting for??
Trust Him.
